Bangladesh National University is the 5th largest university in the world according to enrollment. It was established in 1992 under the act of Parliament of the Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh.

Bangladesh National University Degree Pass and Certificate course 1st year exam routine  and Old Syllabus exam routine has been changed. The both routine was published in 24 October 2019 and changed routine published in 29 December. The exam has been begun from 24 November 2019.

National University honours 3rd year regular, irregular, grad improvement, 4th year special exam, degree old syllabus and degree 1st year exam form fill-up is going on and last date is gradually 20, 26, 31 and 27 October 2019.

National University Masters Part-1 exam routine has been changed and revised routine published. Master’s part-1 exam will be started from Saturday, 29 June 2019. The exam will be ended on Wednesday 31 July 2019.

National University masters final year exam routine for regular, irregular, private & improvement has been published in 14 May 2019. The exam routine 2019 is applicable for MA, MS, MSS, MBS, MSc, MMuse for session 2017. According to the routine, master's final part exam has been started from Saturday, 22 June 2019.
