The Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education of Bangladesh Education Board's HSC exam 2023 has been started from 17 August 2023. But the HSC and equivalent exam starting date of Chittangong board, Madrasah board and Technical board has been changed to 27 August 2023. The exam routine of nine general education was published on 08 June 2023 and available here.

Few month before, Professor Tapon Kumar Sarkar, the chairman of the Dhaka education board has announced the most possible timeline for HSC and equivalent exam.



HSC and equivalent examination mean the Higher Secondary Certificate Examination of Class XII (twelve) of the General Education Board, Alim of Madrasha Education Board, and Equivalent, BM (Business Management) Technical Education Board. The exam will be taken for all subjects but under rearranged short syllabus to make it easier for students.

HSC exam 2023: According to the routine the HSC, Alim, DIBS, BM and other equivalent exam has been begun from 17 August and it will be continued till 25 September and the exam will be for all subjects.



Ministry of education and Ms. Dipu Moni had announced that the SSC and HSC exam will be taken under re-arranged short syllabus. The Exam details routine has been published in 08 June 2023.

In the year 2020 HSC exam was not taken and all examinee of HSC and equivalent level was announced as passed counting their JSC and SSC or equivalent result. And in the year 2021 the exam was taken under short syllabus.

Routine 2023: Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSC) and Diploma in Business Studies (DIBS) examination routine 2023 has been published. The secondary and higher secondary education board, Bangladesh has published the routine.



Nine general education board Dhaka, Rajshahi, Sylhet, Comilla, Jessore, Barishal, Dinajpur and Mymensingh board exam will be started same days and same time. In the other side Chittagong board,Madrasah board and technical board's exam will be started from 27 August 2023.
