Dhaka University honours 1st year admission's online application started from 29 October, 2025. The admission test will be begun from November 28, 2025. The admission will be taken under 5 units which are 1. Science unit, 2. Arts, law and social science unit, 3. Business studies unit and 4. Fine arts unit 5. IBA unit.
Circular 2025-2026: Online application submitting started from 29 October and it will be ended on 16 November 2025 for the five reformed units.
DU has taken a decision in a general meeting on last month about the honours admission circular for this session and exam will be started from November 28 by Arts, Law and Social Science unit.
Admission Test 2025-2026:
The Admission Test 2025-2026 dates has been declared in a dean committee meeting of the university. Admission test will be held by five unites:-
1. Science Unit
2. Arts, law and social science unit
3. Business studies unit
4. Fine arts Unit
5. IBA Unit
Students can download admit card after ending the application submission.
Date of admission test of Dhaka University are- Arts, law and social science unit- January 25, 2025, Business studies Unit- February 8, 2024, Science unit- February 1, 2025, fine arts unit- January 4, 2024 and IBA unit- January 3,2024. Admission test starting time at 11:00am to 12:30am for the four units But IBA unit Admission test starting time at 10:00am to 12:00am.
Candidates never use calculator in the exam hall. And they never carry mobile phone and calculator.

Admission test question:
Total marks: 120 (where 100marks for admission test and 20 marks on SSC and HSC exam result)
Admission test will be taken in MCQ and written both system. MCQ marks is 60 and exam time 45 minutes and written marks is 40 and time 45 minutes for Ka, Kha, Ga and Gha units.
But MCQ mark is 40, exam time 30 minutes and written mark is 60, exam time 60 minutes.
