Chittagong Education board was established on 15 May, 1995. This board was starting to work on 1st July, 1995.
Priviously Comilla Education board served of all districts of Chittagong division. Now-a-days Chittagong Education Board control 1280 Institute of junior, Secondary and Higher Secondary education.
Chittagong education board are placed at- CDA Avenue, Muradpur, Chittagong, Bangladesh
Three of four major public exam JSC, SSC and HSC equivalent of Chittagong zone are taken by this education board.
Professor Shaheda Islam is the Chairman of this education board. He joined in 02 August 2016 in this position.
