Daffodil International University (DIU), a private university located at Dhanmondi, Dhaka, Bangladesh, was established on 24 January 2002 by the Private University Act 1992. The prime initiative of country’s leading conglomerate Daffodil Group is Daffodil International University. The founder of this university is Mr. Md. Sabur Khan, CEO of Daffodil Group.
In line with Vision 2021 and Digital Bangladesh, all academic and administrative activities of the university have been digitized and the university has emerged as a prominent ICT based university of the country. Daffodil International University is the first university in Bangladesh, signed the UN Declaration on commit to the development of sustainable practices for Higher Education Institutions.
